Introduce every new dog treat & dog food gradually.

When feeding Air-Dried Dog Treats:
       Break into small pieces, let your dog sniff the treats and take a bite.

Please make sure your fur baby is always under supervision while eating treats/chews.

Dog treats should not exceed more than 10% of your dog’s daily recommended caloric intake. 

We recommend that if you choose to freeze the treats, that you wait until it’s fully thawed before you serve it to your dog. It might be difficult for some dogs to digest frozen food.

The treats will stay fresh for up to 2 months if stored in normal, room temperature. If you need to store it for a longer period of time, consider freezing it which will increase the shelf life to 1 year.

The treats stay fresh when they are stored in a cool, dark area that is away from direct heat and sunlight.

An airtight container that allows no moisture inside would be the best for storing our air-dried dog treats and dog chews. Other options include vacuum sealed packaging or glass jars for keeping the treats dry .

Our individual retail packages do provide moisture-proof sealing to keep the treats safe. 

Charmy Dog Treats & Dog Chews are single-ingredient. We use nothing but 100% real animal meats, organs and bones.

Charmy dog treats and dog chews are gently air-dried to retain as much of the nutrient profile as possible. It’s not cooked or baked in high heat, rather sliced and placed on stainless steel grates in a room that is air-circulated for 40-120 hours. The drying temperature of our dog treats does not exceed 145 Fahrenheit degrees.

No, air drying does not expose the meat products to as high of temperatures as dehydrating. This allows for more nutrients to stay intact and delivers the most natural taste to your dog.

Traditional Chinese herbs originate from traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), a set of medical practices that have been around for more than 5000 years. Instead of using prescription drugs to treat diseases, TCM used food therapy to prevent the onset of diseases, before they occur. Some common herbs in TCM include ginseng, ginger, astragalus root and goji berries. 

Absolutely! Charmy works with Ph.D. nutritionists from the University of Guelph, ensuring that all TCH in our freeze-dried raw dog food formula is safe for our canines. 

Some herbs aren’t readily available in North America, we will have to source them from Mainland China. All herbs used will be FDA & CFIA approved to ensure safety.

Make sure that your dog gets ample amounts of water from other sources throughout the day. 

Store this freeze-dried food in a cool and dry place. Air should be removed from the bag before zip-sealing to preserve freshness between openings.
